Bowling Green School

Est. 1969

Regardless of your child's age, Bowling Green School provides a stable, Christian learning environment with small classes that provide excellent student/teacher ratios. Bowling Green offers computer labs for students in the elementary through high school to assist your child in keeping up with today's technological advances.

A competent, qualified faculty offers an average of 15 years of teaching experience per teacher. Bowling Green students earn annual awards in Literary Rally, Art, Young Authors, Spelling Bee contest and Beta Club on both District and State levels while competing in public and private contests. We are also proud of our students who have been selected as LSU Golden Girls and Saintsations. Extracurricular activities for students begin in Elementary School. Bowling Green students have received both Academic and Athletic scholarships and 95% of Bowling Green graduates go on to attend college.

Bowling Green is one of the few non-public schools that requires students to take the ACT Aspire and the EOC (End of Course) exams. This allows BGS to present our graduating seniors with a State of Louisiana Diploma and qualify for TOPS. Bowling Green is accredited by the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) and the Mississippi Association Of Independent Schools (MAIS). Bowling Green offers many other reasons and valuable opportunities for your child to be successful in today's world. Visit us today to see the many things we have to offer.
