Emily Phelps |
Mrs. Phelps is a Junior
High Language teacher. She has been
teaching for 8 years and graduated from
LSU with a B.A. in elementary education.
She received a MED from SLU, and also is
a reading specialist. Her children
attend bowling green. |

Mrs. Dixie Cody teaches Biology I
and II, Chemistry, and Fine Arts. Mrs.
Dixie is married to Dr. Jim Cody. They
have one daughter, Jamie, who is a
graduate of Bowling Green.

Mrs. Tommie Lou Stafford
graduated from LSU. She taught math for
years but now is the Guidance
Counselor/Testing Coordinator. She has
been at Bowling Green since January
1972. She has two daughters who
graduated from Bowling Green. She has
three grandsons, two who attend Bowling
Green. |

Mrs. Missy Varnado
teaches World Geography, Physiology,
American History and Physics. She is the
Buccannette sponsor. Mrs. Missy has been at
Bowling Green several years. She is
married to Bobby Varnado and they have
three sons, Derick, Dylan, and Drew.
Derek is a graduate of Bowling Green and
Dylan and Drew attend Bowling Green. |

Mrs. Shandle Waskom teaches 7th and
8th grade Science, and Physical
Education. Mrs. Shandle is
married to Mark Waskom, and they have
three daughters, Brittany, Amber, and
Holly. |

Valarie Stafford Comeaux
teaches Journalism. Sponsors the yearbook and is the Junior
Beta sponsor. Valarie is also an
active member of the ABC club. She
is a 1989 graduate of Bowling Green and
a 1992 graduate of LSU. She is
married to John Comeaux, and they have
three boys attending BGS, Connor,
Crockett, and Cody. |

Mrs. Pam Penny has taught Spanish
and English for 36 years. She
teaches Spanish I and Spanish II at
Bowling Green. She is married to
James Harold Penny and has two grown
children and three grown step-children.
She is the grandmother of nine, two of
whom attend BGS. |

Paula Spear |
Mrs. Paula Spear
has taught school for 38 years. She is
certified in Spanish and English and
graduated from SLU with a BA, MED, plus
30. She teaches English 4. |

Marilyn Harsch |
Mrs. Harsch teaches
Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and
Advanced Math. She graduated from UNO
with a masters degree (MED) with an area
of concentration in Math. She received
30 grad hours at Southeastern and
retired from Saint Tammany after 27
years of teaching. Also, she taught at
Hancock High for 3 years. |

Melissa Seals |
Ms. Seals teaches 7th
grade Math and Science, 8th grade Math,
Science and Social Studies. She also, is
the JV Cheerleading Sponsor. She
graduated from SLU with a D4, and a BA
in elementary education (1st - 8th
grade). This is her 8th year of
teaching. |

Stacy Williams |
Mrs. Williams has been
teaching for 10 years. This is her
second year at Bowling Green. She
has a Bachelor of Science and a Master
of Education Degree. She previously
taught in St. Tammany Parish. Ms.
Williams has has 3
children, Reid, an 11th grader, Randi,
who is in the seventh grade and Reese,
who is three years old. |
