 Bowling
Green School was founded in 1969 and has been a
beacon of education for its students for almost
forty years. Bowling Green was established on
Christian principles and high educational
standards. The faculty and staff encourage
students to believe in themselves and to achieve
the goals they have set for themselves in life.
Bowling Green School offers children in PK
through JH elements of the A Beka program of
education which is based on Christian principals
and educational concepts in history, math, and
reading. The success of our students is very
evident. Under graduates excel in testing
programs and in academic competition. Graduates
have proven themselves whether it be in the work
place or in higher education.
Bowling Green teachers, whether they have
children or grandchildren in attendance are very
much a part of the “BG Family” and they teach
for the sheer joy of educating students in an
environment of love and support from students,
parents, and administration alike.
Bowling Green School believes in the power of
prayer and reinforces that belief by opening all
school events with prayer. It is with the
continued prayers and hard work of parents,
students, faculty, staff and administration that
Bowling Green School will continue to be that
shining beacon of education for the children of
Washington Parish, Southeastern Louisiana and
Southern Mississippi.
